When the rise of 3 gun shooting began, we at RHT stepped up quickly to meet the demands of Ruger American Duty shooters, then as the Extreme Games continued to build we refined what we do. We looked at some of the 3gun games and decided that a locking hood was not necessary, but some added protection would be helpful. We first increase the indent on the trigger for non-light bearing Ruger American Duty holsters to add to the retention. We then take these holsters and mold them a bit higher than the competition holster, and do not put the low cut scoop on them. As always we continued making them in Maryland and staying proud that we can say Made in the USA.
It is available only in the tried and true double layer configuration. This features two layers of .08 thick Kydex to add a great deal of structure to your Ruger American Duty holster. In addition to the stability, it gives you the ability to further add to the custom look of your rig. We feature everything from solid colors, carbon fiber look, and many custom camouflage patterns including Kyrptek, Supercam, Hexcam and more.
All 3 Gun holsters come with adjustable retention. You can have the standard Phillips head screws, or upgrade to Stainless, Brass or Black knobs that allow you to adjust your retention without using tools.
We also allow you to have this holster for just the gun, or select from a variety of lights from some of the top manufacturers including most popular Streamlight, and Surefire models. When you select a light, you add another retention option of the Button Lock. The Button Lock will allow your Ruger American Duty with a light to hold even more securely.
With the rise of thumbrests in competition shooting, you can add a thumbrest accommodation from Align Tactical, GoGun Gas Pedal, and others to your Ruger American Duty holster build. Please be aware that adding a thumbrest will slightly decrease the level of positive retention we put on these.
With this holster we also give you the ability to select your mounting system. You can select from a variety of hole patterns without an actual attachment. You can have Safariland QLS and ELS, Bladetech 3 hole pattern, G-Ccode 35, and the Black Scorpion Drop. In addition to the plain holster you can select from a variety of included attachments including the War-Lok, Adjustable Latching Loop, Springer Precision drop hanger, or the G-Code 35 plate.
With all of these options, we try to allow you to build exactly the perfect Ruger American Duty holster for your needs whether dynamic and fast paced competition shooting, fun range shooting, or even our concealed carry options.
The lead time on this custom Made in the USA holster is currently about one month from the date of purchase. You do have the option of upgrading to a 10 business day manufacture speed if you need this holster for your competition sooner.
