We are happy to continue to offer the Maryland Wear and Carry Permit training with a partnership with the locally owned & operated facility, Warhorse Tactics. We continue to partner with highly qualified instructors that focus on more range time, have tactical & competition experience, and longevity in this community. At Red Hill Tactical, we have been providing classes that meet the needs of our students for over 10 years. We use current instructional trends to ensure that our classes utilize the best technology in order to allow our students to achieve mastery that is unheard of. By utilizing a team of well accomplished instructors that have decades of experience of competitive shooting, tactical experience in Special Operations Units, and years of concealed carry experience in multiple states; we are able to provide insights to your shooting that will help you progress. In the 16 hours we spend together, you will improve your confidence to hit a target under pressure.
Both days of class are taught at: Warhorse Tactics, 1597 State Line Road, Waynesboro, PA, located only 5 miles north of Red Hill Tactical just above the Pennsylvania state line.
Day 1: Saturday. Class will be from 10am to 6pm. It will consist of both classroom & range time, so bring all your gear both days. We will cover safety, qualification standards, fundamentals, practice live fire qual, and MSP required topics.
Day 2: Sunday. Class from 10am to 6pm. It will consist of a safety brief, practice live fire qual, mandatory required training, application process, live fire qualification, and end with live fire range time to improve the student’s ability to survive a deadly encounter. IF you have a holster and belt bring that for day 2. If you do not have a holster, you do need to wear pants with a belt loop and wear a belt if possible.
You will need to bring both days:
Driver’s License, Handgun, Range Bag or Gun Case, Ammunition (200 rounds), Holster (optional but advised), Eye Protection, Hat, Closed Toe Shoes, Weather Appropriate Clothing (the range is outdoors), Ear Protection, Lunch/ Dinner, Snacks, Beverage(s).
Water & Coffee will be provided in the classroom.
A large 10 x 15 ft canopy will be up in case of weather.
Breaks will be taken throughout the day during classroom and range time.
If you need a holster, ammunition, hearing protection, eye protection, etc. Please call the shop immediately so we can work on securing those items. We do have guns listed that you can rent that will include 200 rounds of ammunition.
This class is NON-REFUNDABLE, we schedule instructors based on enrollment.
The instructor is Paul Taylor. He has 20+ years of concealed carry experience, is a multi-gun and USPSA shooter and a IDPA Master Shooter. He has been a NRA certified instructor for 10 years, and served 20+ years in the United States military as a Marine Infantryman & Scout Sniper, then US Army Ranger then Special Forces Green Beret.
